PRIMARY EVENT SPONSOR
The U.S. Department of Energy's overarching mission is enhancing national security. The priorities of the Department's energy program are to: increase domestic energy production; revolutionize our approach to energy conservation and efficiency; and promote development of renewable and alternative energy sources.

NREL NREL is DOE's premier laboratory for renewable energy and energy efficiency research and development. NREL is home to the National Center for Photovoltaics, the National Wind Technology Center and the National Bioenergy Center.
