The Midnight Sun Solar Race Team is the largest student-run project at the University of Waterloo. The Midnight Sun team was formed in 1988 and has competed in every major North-American solar vehicle race since 1990, as well as the 1999 and 2001 World Solar Challenges. Additionally we participate in many public events to raise awareness of solar power applicability.
