Announcements from HQ to NASC2005 Teams (2004.01 - 2004.06)
2003.12.01 - Possible Dates for Kick Off Conference
The ASC2005 Kick Off Conference will be hosted by the University of Missouri - Rolla in 2004. The conference will have discussions about technical and logistical issues of building/testing/raycing a vehicle for 2005. We highly encourage every team to send at least two representatives. More information about conference specifics will be available soon.
We have two possible dates for the conference March 19-21, 2004 or March 26-28, 2004. The conference will be Friday PM through Sunday AM.
Please send me an email with the date that would work best for your team. If neither date is possible for your team, please let me know what other date would be better. (Send emails to teams@formulasun.org.)

2003.11.13 - Team Radio Information
If you have any of the information below for the radios that your team uses while raycing (for talking and telemetry), could you please email it to me at teams@formulasun.org?
--radio type (CB, HAM, etc)
--radio brand (company)
--radio model
--radio frequency
Radio frequency is the key item of interest.
We are working with government officials on a possible route for 2005 and this information will be helpful in some of the preliminary discussions.
If you do not know what radios you will be using, don't worry. At this point we are looking for responses from a number of teams, but we do not need the information from everyone.
2003.11.03 - Fall 2003 newsletter online
The Fall 2003 newsletter is online at http//www.americansolarchallenge.org/aboutasc/newsletter/index.html. Printed copies are also on the way by mail (US address should receive them this week. It will take a bit longer for them to reach overseas addresses.)
