The 2005 North American Solar Challenge route is in development. Details will be posted here as they are available.

Updates

2005.02.10 - The startline in Austin will be at the Bob Bullock Texas State History Museum north of the capitol (at 1800 N. Congress Avenue at the intersection of Martin Luther King, Jr. Blvd).

2004 - Fall - Excel File with notes of road changes from Fall drive. Notes for each segment are on separate worksheets.

Streets & Trips Files

The following files are for Streets & Trips mapping software. The 2005 or 2004 version may be needed to open the files. Please note that the program sometimes does not include every road that we will travel on. Also, the Route Planner function sometimes inserts extra turns that are not part of the route.

MARCH 2005 DRIVE ROUTE STEPS - Partial draft route steps from the March 2005 route drive are available as an Excel file. Each worksheet will contain instructions for one segment (one checkpoint to the next). Please note that the file is incomplete -- as segments are finished, they will be added to this file. Also, the pages are formatted for note taking during the June drive (extra column, extra row space).
