2005 North American Solar Challenge
Medicine Hat, Alberta
The 2005 North American Solar Challenge will have a stage stop in Medicine Hat, Alberta. Teams will arrive on July 25-26 as they complete Stage 3. On July 27, teams will depart from Medicine Hat as they begin the final day of raycing. Teams will depart in one minute intervals beginning at 9:00 a.m.
The public is welcome to view the cars and talk to the teams.
Stage Location
Medicine Hat College is hosting the stage stop in the front parking lot. Their campus is at 299 College Drive SE.

The solar cars will be in Medicine Hat on July 25-27. The exact arrival time of the first car will vary depending on the weather. During the rayce, updates on team locations will be available on the Recent Sightings page.

Estimated Open Time - It is unlikely that the first solar car will arrive before this time. The actual arrival time will likely be a bit later and will depend on traffic and weather.
Stage Activities - Solar cars will be on display in a charging area at Medicine Hat College during the day. The stage finish line is open from approximately 7:45 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. After crossing the finish line, solar cars will be on display in a charging area from 6:30 a.m. to 8:30 p.m.
Stage 3 Start - Solar cars will be released in one minute intervals.
