In the regulation it state that the harness must be attached with bolts and nuts. In the past we have used a harness made to wrap around tubes of the chassis. Will this be allowed?

Regulation 6.5.6 states "Only commercially manufactured safety belt systems are allowed, and any modifications must be approved by the manufacturer." Wrapping the tube is acceptable, but must be a manufacturer approved method of installation. The structural member to which the seat belt is fastened will also be an issue at scrutineering.
