If isolation relay's where located within the batttery enclusure, could the power switch located within easy reach of the driver, refered to in 5.11 be a 12V switch that controls the relay, assuming the relay is normally open. In other words, does the power switch need to carry the full battery, array and motor currents, or can this be carried by a relay controlled by a low-voltage switch located near the driver?

Normally open relays may be used instead of switches.
