After many years of serving with the solar car events, Dan Eberle announced his resignation from the Innovators Educational Foundation Board of Directors. We thank Dan for his years of service to the solar car events in the US and around the world as well as his help in starting the Innovators Educational Foundation in 2009, continuing the American Solar Challenge and Formula Sun Grand Prix tradition.
Dan’s history with the brainsport of solar car began as a team member with the Crowder College solar car program. Over the years, he has served in many roles including Event Director, Jury Chief, and Emeritus Member of the Board of Directors & Vice President of the Innovators Educational Foundation. He has also held roles with many other solar car challenges from around the world.
Given the comradery of the solar car community, it would not be unexpected to see Dan make appearances at future solar car events. We wish him all the best in his future endeavors.
