Electrek Formula Sun Grand Prix 2024 at NCM Motorsports Park
Solar Cars will take to a new track in 2024 as the Electrek Formula Sun Grand Prix heads to the National Corvette Museum Motorsports Park in Bowling Green, KY. Scrutineering will take place over 3 days from Saturday July 13th to Monday July 15th. FSGP will be Tuesday the 16th through Thursday the 18th. A more detailed schedule will be made available at a later date.
See America by National Historic Trail at the Electrek American Solar Challenge 2024!
In partnership with the National Park Service and the National Trails System the solar cars and their teams will “See America by National Historic Trail” in 2024. The event will be a tour of sites across the Southern, Midwest, and Great Plains states following a number of National Historic Trails for different segments of the event. All of the stage stops and checkpoints are being finalized and will be announced at a later date. The event will be 8 days from July 20th-27th and will consist of a roughly 1500 mile base route with many opportunities for teams to increase their mileage via optional loops. Friday July 19th will be display day and MOV Class Practicality Judging.
