Spectator Information
Spectators are welcome to attend FSGP! There is no cost for spectators to attend. Spectators may be required to sign a waiver upon arrival at NCM Motorsports Park. Come see the solar cars complete laps on the track or see them close up in the paddock during evening charging periods! Below are the best times to attend:
Thursday July 3rd
10am – Ceremonial Start
10am to 6pm – Hot Track
6pm to 8pm – Evening Charging
Friday July 4th
9am to 5pm – Hot Track
5pm to 8pm – Evening Charging
Saturday July 5th
9am to 5pm – Hot Track
TBD – Awards Ceremony
Location & Dates
The Electrek Formula Sun Grand Prix 2025 will take place at the National Corvette Museum Motorsports Park in Bowling Green, KY. NCM Motorsports Park previously hosted the Electrek FSGP 2024. Scrutineering will take place June 30th through July 2nd with Solar Cars taking the track for FSGP from July 3rd through 5th.
Track Info
The facilities and setup at FSGP 2025 will be similar to FSGP 2024. More information on garages and on-site camping will be available to teams in the spring. New this year: the track concession stand will be open for Breakfast (6:30-10:30am) and Lunch (11am-2pm) for on-site food, snacks, and drinks. See the menu for what is available.
Volunteer at FSGP
Volunteer roles are available at FSGP 2025. Both Corner Workers and Observers (new for 2025) are needed. Visit the Volunteer page for more information and to apply.

- Registration documents are now due! See the Registration Page for full details.
- Regulations Revisions have been released, see the Regulations Page to download the full document, for any updates, and official interpretations.
- The event schedule will be similar to the previous events, a full detailed schedule is available for download.
- Scrutineering Sheets for the event are available for reference
- Camping is once again available on site for registered teams for free. RV spots must be directly reserved on the NCM Website
- IEF has secured additional garages for this years event via garage building 2 (located across the parking lot at the back of the paddock). All registered teams will get a garage space, garages will be allocated first come first serve as teams achieve all green status on registration. Complete your registration early to choose your garage!
