2023 Solar Car Conference

Join us and your fellow solar car teams for 2 weeks of educational sessions, networking, one-on-ones, and more. With 30+ presenters and 40+ sessions (and counting), there will be something for everyone to help your team prepare for Formula Sun Grand Prix and American Solar Challenge events.

The 2023 Conference will once again be a virtual event. Based on feedback from the previous virtual conference, the schedule has been adjusted over two weeks. See the high level schedule and the session schedule.

Participants

Over 200 participants from 20+ universities are registered! Each team leader has been emailed joining information for their members to gain access to the conference discord. The discord contains information on how to sign up for 1-on-1’s, join the various sessions, and has rooms set up for networking. Any changes to the schedules posted here will also be communicated via discord.

Presenters

Over 30 presenters are scheduled with alumni from solar car teams including: Poly Montreal, Missouri S&T, Onda Solare, Iowa State, Minnesota, Kentucky, Toronto, Illinois, Kansas, DUEM, UBC, ETS, and more!

For full details, see the full list of sessions and descriptions.

Registration

At a time when inflation is causing prices on nearly everything to rise, prices for the 2023 conference are remaining the same as 2021! We encourage you to take advantage of the Team Pack (good for up to 20 team members). We also have a Core Pack (up to five team members) and an Individual Ticket option to allow you to right-size for your situation. All pricing information is in the registration form.
